Warm colors, cool shadows. Recent classes have taken a bend towards some serious lessons in color mixing. Last Saturday we mixed the warm colors between yellow and red and their progressive tints. The still life of yellow and red fiesta ware presented painters with the challenge of how to create the shadows for those warm colors.
